NDRC: China’s Ten Non-ferrous Metals Output Rises 4.1% in First Three Quarters

During the first three quarters, China’s output of ten varieties’ nonferrous metals reaches 40.73 million tones, rising 4.1%, 3.2 % faster than last year.

SHANGHAI, Nov.1 (SMM)-During the first three quarters, China’s output of ten varieties’ nonferrous metals reaches 40.73 million tones, rising 4.1%, 3.2 % faster than last year. Copper output reaches 6.61 million tonnes, rising 6.3%, dropping 2.1%. Electrolytic aluminium output reaches 24.66 million tonnes, rising 5%. Lead output reaches 3.376 million tonnes, rising 5.3%, 1.3% slower than last year. Zinc output reaches 4.49 million tonnes, dropping 2.5%, 2.4% faster than last year. Alumina output reaches 54.86 million tonnes, rising 16.6%.

China's total sulphuric acid imports amounted to approximately 3,000 mt (reference value, subject to final customs data), sourced primarily from Taiwan, China, South Korea, Japan, Germany, and the United States. China's total sulphuric acid exports amounted to approximately 16,000 mt, down 84.5% month-on-month and down 96.0% year-on-year, with major destinations including Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Tanzania, and Togo.
