US Zinc Imports and Exports Post Mixed Results in August

US zinc imports increased in August while exports declined, according to the Commerce Department.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 9 (SMM) - US zinc imports increased in August while exports declined, according to the Commerce Department.

US Lead Imports Fall Remarkably in August, Exports Surge

The country’s zinc imports were 23,463,769 kg in August, higher than 22,083,904 kg in July. Total imports were 262,453,271 kg during January-August.

US Copper Imports Fall Sharply in August and Exports Grow

Zinc exports were 3,820,005 kg in August, compared to July’s 5,628,533 kg. Total exports were 74,813,469 kg during January-August.
