SHANGHAI, Sept. 27 (SMM) – Environmental checks did not impact output of main industrial products and are not the direct reason behind higher product prices, Cui Shuhong, an official from Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) said.
Price changes depend mainly on market supply & demand, Cui pointed out.
Some market players have exaggerated impacts from environmental protection policies, thus inflating market prices, which disturbed market order, Cui added.
