The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) rose 1to a record high of 1,503 on September 25, posting an 8-day winning streak and rising for 4 months in a row.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 26 (SMM) – The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) rose 1to a record high of 1,503 on September 25, posting an 8-day winning streak and rising for 4 months in a row.

The shipping market is believed to be improving with economic recovery worldwide, one industry insider said. The gains over the past few months also reflect a high-demand season for dry bulk cargo transportation.

The market is still promising in Q4.
