According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, wire and cable exports rose 2.42% MoM to 284,000 mt in August, up 8.85% YoY. Cumulative exports reached 2.131 million mt in January-August 2026, up 9.21% YoY. Among them, copper wire and cable exports rose 8.23% MoM to 144,000 mt in August, up 16.74% YoY. Cumulative copper wire and cable exports reached 1.0599 million mt in January-August 2026, up 15.61% YoY (copper wire and cable HS: 85444921, 85444929, 85446012, 85446013, 85446014, 85446019, 85446090).

Copper Foil Imports and Exports in August

According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs, copper foil imports rose 5.51% MoM to 8,316 mt in August, up 21.9% YoY, with cumulative imports up 14.7% YoY to 61,400 mt in January-August 2026. Copper foil exports fell 5.77% MoM to 6,658 mt in August, up 27.41% YoY, with cumulative exports up 63.48% YoY in January-August 2026 (HS: 74101100, 74102190).
