Both supply and demand were active in Shanghai spot copper market today, SMM reports.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 14 (SMM) – Both supply and demand were active in Shanghai spot copper market today, SMM reports.

Morgan Stanley: Fundamentals Not Good Enough to Keep Copper Price above $6,600

Spot premiums were high at 80-120 yuan per tonne as delivery nears.

Operating Rate at China Copper Plate/Sheet, Strip and Foil Producers Up in August, SMM Surveys

Traded prices were 50,480-50,680 yuan per tonne for standard-quality copper and 50500-50700 yuan per tonne for high-quality copper on September 14.
