China’s crude steel output rose 8.7% year-on-year to 74.59 million tonnes in August, the highest in record.

SHANGHAI, Sept. 14 (SMM) – China’s crude steel output rose 8.7% year-on-year to 74.59 million tonnes in August, the highest in record.

Crude steel output increased 10.3% year-on-year in July and 5.1% during January-July.

MOFCOM: China Steel Price Up 1.4% Last Week

China’s crude steel output added 5.6% to 566.41 million tonnes during January-August.
