SHANGHAI, Sept. 8 (SMM) – China’s imports of copper ore and concentrate were up slightly in August on a monthly basis, according to China Customs.
China Unwrought Copper and Copper Semis Imports Hold Stable for 4 Consecutive Month
In August, China imported 1.44 million tonnes, up 3.1 per cent MoM, and down 0.72 per cent YoY, and the relatively stable import reflected stable ore supply from overseas mines.
China’s ore imports totaled 11.11 million tonnes from January to August 2017, up 2.33 per cent on a yearly basis, according to China Customs.
