SHANGHAI, Sept. 8 (SMM) – China’s imports of unwrought copper and copper semis held stable for 4th consecutive month, according to China Customs.
China imported 390,000 tonnes of unwrought copper and copper semis in August, flat at July’s level, and largely unchanged at the level for 4 months in a row. The imports were up 11.4 per cent from 350,000 tonnes seen the same period of last year.
China’s imports of unwrought copper and copper semis totaled 3.01 million tonnes during the first 8 months of the year, down 12.7 per cent on a yearly basis, according to China Customs.
