SHANGHAI, Sept. 7 (SMM) – Steel-smelting line at one stainless steel mill in east China is now under maintenance, Shanghai Metals Market learns.

China Refined Nickel Output Grows 2.2 Per cent MoM in August

The maintenance after malfunction is expected to last 2-3 days, and will affect output by about 5,000 tonnes, and reduce nickel demand by about 400 tonnes (Ni content) in September as a result. The plant has monthly output of approximately 100,000 tonnes.
