CME Metals Trading Volumes Soar in August; Copper Positions Peak
Sep 6, 2017 10:28CME Group announced Tuesday that metals trading volumes on the CME jumped 50% in August from a year ago.
SHANGHAI, Sept. 6 (SMM) – CME Group announced Tuesday that metals trading volumes on the CME jumped 50% in August from a year ago.
Metals trading volumes on the CME averaged 622,000 lots per day in August, up from 414,000 lots per day a year ago.
Copper positions reached a record high of 338,000 lots on August 16.
