Shandong Kaishi Industry Suspends Cobalt Operation for More than 40 Days

Shandong Kaishi Industry has halted production of cobalt for more than 40 days from August 18.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 25 (SMM) – Shandong Kaishi Industry has halted production of cobalt for more than 40 days from August 18 with superficial reason of environmental checks. Actually, the company’s cobalt business is suffering losses.

Cobalt Raw Material Shortage to Persist Following Fire at Sinomine (Ganzhou) 

Hence, output suspension at Kaishi Industry will be longer than expected.

The company also has stopped production of cobaltous sulfate from July.
