SHANGHAI, Aug. 25 (SMM) –Sinomine (Ganzhou) International Cobalt Industry Co. has halted production in the wake of a fire at its production workshop this Tuesday. 

Shandong Kaishi Industry Suspends Cobalt Operation for More than 40 Days

The company produces nearly 2,500 tonnes of cobalt chloride and 1,000 tonnes of Co3O4 per year.

The closure is expected to last over 30 days. Cobalt raw material supply will remain tight for the foreseeable future.
