ACREI Proposes to Suspend State Rare Earth Stockpiling and Release Stockpiled Rare Earth

On August 17, three officials from Association of China Rare Earth Industry (ACREI) visited division of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and State Reserve Bureau (SRB).

SHANGHAI, Aug. 22 (SMM) – On August 17, three officials from Association of China Rare Earth Industry (ACREI) visited division of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and State Reserve Bureau (SRB).

Secretariat of ACREI made two proposals: 1. Suspend rare earth stockpiling by SRB in the face of current rare earth supply & demand situation; 2. Release some rare earth stockpiled earlier so as to adjust rare earth market.
