SHANGHAI, Aug. 21 (SMM) – Ferrous metals started this week with big gains, and non-ferrous metals also performed quite well.
Chinese Regulators Likely to Take further Action to Cool Ferrous Metals Fever
As of closing time before lunchtime on Monday, iron ore futures prices gained 6.61%, and rebar futures prices gained 3.57%.
All base metals on the SHFE ended with gains, except lead. SHFE nickel jumped over 4%. SHFE zinc hit new highs, up nearly 3% in morning session.
