NDRC: China Steel and Nonferrous Metals Prices Surge in July

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) released prices and indexes for some commodities August 18.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 18 (SMM) – The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) released prices and indexes for some commodities August 18. According to these data, China’s steel and nonferrous metals prices rose significantly in July.

Domestic steel price index was 90.63, up 4.30 on-month and 28.12 on a yearly basis. Domestic nonferrous metals price index was 83.00, up 3.06 on the month and 14.20 year-on-year.
