SHANGHAI, Aug. 18 (SMM) – One small and medium NPI producer in Liaoning is looking for partner to get prepared for restarting production, Shanghai Metals Market learns.
The producer, having one 25,000-KVA electric furnace, now faces cash tightness, and is looking for partner, which could invest or purchase the plant.

The plant has already signed direct power supply contract, and power costs could be able to reduce by around 30 per cent, as power price is down from 0.6 yuan to 0.37-0.41 yuan per kWh after the supply contract.
