Peru’s output of seven metals grew in June, according to Peruvian government.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 7 (SMM) - Peru’s output of seven metals grew in June, according to Peruvian government.

The country’s production of copper, its major export product, increased 1.7% in June.

Output of zinc, lead, silver, tin, iron ore and molybdenum added 13.5%, 10.6%, 10.8%, 9.4%, 11.6% and 55%, respectively.

China Imported Zinc Supply to Grow as Import Profit Window Reopens, SMM Says

Zinc output rose to 126,016 tonnes, and total zinc prdouction during January-June was 708,011 tonnes, up 12.62% due to growth at Antamina mine, which was jointly run by BHP Billiton and Glencore.
