Hebei to Eliminate Steel&Iron Capacities in Langfang by Late 2019; Output Restriction in Heating Season Releases

Langfang will cut 4.12 million tonnes of iron capacity and 1.7 million tonnes of steel capacity at 4 steel mills in 2017, and Tangshan will restrict 50% of steel capacity in heating season in winter.

SHANGHAI, Sep. 4 (SMM) – Langfang will cut 4.12 million tonnes of iron capacity and 1.7 million tonnes of steel capacity at 4 steel mills in 2017, and will clamp down all capacities at those 4 steel mills by late 2019.

Tangshan to Clamp Down All Gasoline and Diesel Trucks at Ports by September for Environmental Protection

In other news, Tangshan will restrict 50% of steel capacity in heating season in winter days, in terms of blast furnace capacity, which will be verified by real power consumption. Output at coking plants should be restricted by 30%.
