CISA: China Steel Inventories in 20 Cities Fall for 5 Months in July

China Iron and Steel Industry Association (CISA) data showed inventories of five steel categories fell for 5 months in a row as of July at 20 cities.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 27 (SMM) - China Iron and Steel Industry Association (CISA) data showed inventories of five steel categories fell for 5 months in a row as of July at 20 cities. Inventories of four categories declined on the month in July. Inventories of cold-rolled coil increased in July.

Total inventories in spot markets and at ports were 8.30 million tonnes, down 540,000 tonnes or 6.1% on the month.

Shandong Laigang Yongfeng Starts 20-Day Maintenance at Rebar Lines

Total inventories in Spot markets were 7.26 million tonnes, a drop of 501,000 tonnes or 6.5% on the month.

Those at ports were 1.04 million tonnes, down 40,000 tonnes or 3.7% from June.
