SHANGHAI, Jul. 27 (SMM) - PT Ceria Nugraha Indotama, which become the third company being approved for nickel ore exports in early July, has not started ore exports so far, Shanghai Metals Market learns.
Nickel Ore Price Advances with Rising LME Nickel, SMM Reports
PT Ceria Nugraha Indotama will be permitted to export 2.30 million tonnes of nickel ore in principle through to July 2018, and total export quotas after adding the first two companies’ volumes will have reached 6.06 million tonnes.
As of June 2017, China imported a total of 860,000 tonnes of nickel ore from Indonesia.
