China Rebar Stocks Grow Much Faster than Hot-Rolled Steel, SMM Says

As of July 20, rebar stocks across China rose 3.1% week-on-week, outpacing 0.6% increase in hot-rolled steel plate stocks, SMM statistics showed.
SHANGHAI, Jul. 20 (SMM) – As of July 20, rebar stocks across China rose 3.1% week-on-week, outpacing 0.6% increase in hot-rolled steel plate stocks, SMM statistics showed.
China Crude Steel Daily Output Hits New Record in June Despite Elimination Efforts, SMM Reports
By product, rebar stocks totaled 4.13 million tonnes, versus 2.26 million tonnes of hot-rolled steel plate stocks, while steel wire rod stocks dropped 0.7% to 1.13 million tonnes.
