CISA: Daily Crude Steel Output Falls in Early July

SHANGHAI, Jun. 19 (SMM) - China Iron & Steel Industry Association (CISA) data showed average daily crude steel production at its member steel companies was 1.85 million tonnes in early July, down 17,000 tonnes or 0.91% from ten days earlier.

National average daily crude steel output is estimated to be 2.35 million tonnes in early July, down 13,400 tonnes or 0.57% from ten days earlier.

Steel inventories at CISA member companies totaled 12.94 million tonnes as of July 10, a growth of 867,100 tonnes or 7.18% from ten days earlier.
