SHANGHAI, Jul. 6 (SMM) – Production at domestic high-grade NPI plants varies one from another, SMM learns. 

One medium and large NPI producer in northeast China plans to increase output in July with profits recovering. The plant produced 5,000 tonnes of high-grade NPI in June. 

One Guangxi Nickel Producer Cuts Production

Another NPI-stainless steel integrated plant in Fujian, however, plans to cut its output to zero in July, as #300 stainless steel, its products, enjoyed no consumption advantages in market competition. The company arranges low production plan for #300 stainless steel in July, and its on-hand inventories of high-grade NPI are able to meet production needs.
