SHFE Copper Registers Big Growth (2017-6-23)

SHANGHAIM, Jun. 23 (SMM) – On Friday, SHFE 1708 copper opened at RMB 46,040/mt and then glided to RMB 45,920/mt. During the afternoon trading, the contract advanced to RMB 45,920/mt from RMB 46,100/mt and closed at RMB 46,690/mt, up RMB 710/mt, hitting the highest level in seven weeks. Trading volumes reduced 2,828 to 229,000 lots and positions rose 11,000 to 209,000.

SHFE 1708 copper will remain in upward track on Friday’s night trading.
