SHANGHAI, Jun. 22 (SMM) – All secondary lead smelters in Anhui’s Taihe have resumed output, SMM learns.

But, refined lead output is limited by insufficient battery scrap supply.

Moreover, lead smelters hold back sales for low-priced goods, reducing influx of refined lead in China’s market.

The goods mainly traded at premiums of 200-300 yuan per tonne, against average SMM #1 lead price.
