SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 73,430/mt today and dipped to RMB 73,270/mt.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 21 (SMM) – SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 73,430/mt today and dipped to RMB 73,270/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1709 nickel rallied to RMB 74,180/mt range and closed at RMB 74,120/mt, down RMB 630/mt or 0.84%. Trading volumes on SHFE 1709 nickel decreased 88,500 to 369,000, and positions increased 5,708 to 517,000. US existing home sales and EIA crude oil inventories last week will be released tonight. SHFE nickel is expected to remain range-bound this evening.
