China's nonferrous metals production up in May

China's metal output during May, mainly 10 nonferrous metals increased by about 2.4 percent YoY.

BEIJING (Scrap Register): China's metal output during May, mainly 10 nonferrous metals increased by about 2.4 percent when compared to the corresponding period last year, as per National Bureau of Statistics.
The 10 non ferrous metals mentioned are copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, nickel, tin, antimony, mercury, magnesium and titanium sponge. When it is compared with the data from a month before, it increased by about 1.6 percent.
During the period during January to May the total production was seen at 22.63 million tons, which increased by 6.9 percent, when compared to the same period last year.
