China Rare Earth Exports Up 5.4% YoY in May 2017, and down MoM

China exported 4294 tonnes of rare earth in May 2017, up 5.4% YoY but down MoM.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 15 (SMM) – China exported 4294 tonnes of rare earth in May, up 5.4% YoY but down MoM, with average price at $8.0 per kilogram, down 2.3% YoY and 0.8% MoM, reported by ChinaIOL.

Jiangxi to Crack down Illegal Rare Earth Businesses

China’s rare earth exports increased 13.2% YoY in the first five months of 2017, totaling 21,920 tonnes, with average price up 3.9% YoY to $7.7 per kilogram.
