Jiangxi to Crack down Illegal Rare Earth Businesses

Commission of Industry & Information Technology of Jiangxi Province declared to conduct crackdowns on illegal rare earth businesses.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 15 (SMM) – Commission of Industry & Information Technology of Jiangxi Province declared to conduct crackdowns on illegal rare earth businesses, reported by Department of Raw Material Industry.

The government will launch inspections on all rare earth enterprises in the province, cracking down illegal rare earth mining and closing down enterprises which failed to meet environmental protection standard. Enterprises, which overproduce and produce without a plan, and all recycling enterprises should suspend output. The inspection will also aim at tax evasion and false rare earth invoice.
