SHFE 1708 aluminum hit its lowest since January 13 at RMB 13,485/mt overnight.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 15 (SMM) –SHFE 1708 aluminum hit its lowest since January 13 at RMB 13,485/mt overnight. The contract will fall further to RMB 13,450-13,650/mt today, due to growing stocks and weakening consumption in spot market.

In east China’s spot aluminum market, spot discounts of RMB 50-10/mt are expected over SHFE 1706 aluminum contract.
