Many aluminum processors in China told SMM recently that anti-dumping measures against China are beginning to take a toll on their overseas orders.

SHANGHAI, Jun. 14 (SMM) – Many aluminum processors in China told SMM recently that anti-dumping measures against China are beginning to take a toll on their overseas orders.

For example, Zhejiang Zhongjin Aluminum expects its export orders to tumble over 40% in July.

To counter falling exports, Luoyang Longding Aluminum is actively adjusting product portfolio and now focuses on domestic air-conditioner foil market. 

Customs data showed China exported 460,000 tonnes of unwrought aluminum and aluminum semis in May.
