SHANGHAI, Jun. 9 (SMM) - The budget for Shalipayco project’s drilling and other geological engineering work is $ 5 million. Milpo expects to release new resource forecast in early 2018, cnmn.com reported.

China Refined Zinc Output Posts Remarkable Decline in May, SMM Reports

Shalipayco is a zinc mine project. Preliminary research has been done during 2008-2014, and drilling length reached 91,000 meters. Milpo estimated zinc reserves with grade above 5% were about 20 million tonnes.

The Shalipayco project is located 170 kilometers in the northeast of Lima. The mine is also associated with lead and silver resources. It covers 21,000 hectares.
