SHANGHAI, May 23 (SMM) – Last week, stainless steel prices extended losses, and what’s price outlook this week?

“Price declines in the stainless steel market are expected to be continuing on big inventory pressures,” SMM nickel analyst projects.

Stainless steel inventory in Wuxi and Foshan dropped, but that at steel mills increased instead, SMM learnt. Some private mills cut prices to promote sales given high inventory pressures.
