SHANGHAI, May 23 (SMM) - Committee of Statistics，Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan data show May 17 the country’s copper cathode and refined zinc output increased 5.6% and 10.2%, respectively, on a yearly basis in the first four months of 2017, xftz.cn reported.

Zambia Copper Yields Slide in First Quarter but Exports Earnings Jump

The country’s crude steel production grew 12.9% year-on-year.

The London-listed KAZMinerals and Glencore’s Kazzinc take a lion’s share in the country’s metal production.

ArcelorMittal has the sole large steel mill in the country.

Major Import and Export Countries for China’s Copper Foil
