Chihong Zn & Ge adjusted its production plan to focus on high-purity zinc production in 2017 due to higher prices of the products, cnmn.com reported.

SHANGHAI, May 23 (SMM) - Chihong Zn & Ge adjusted its production plan to focus on high-purity zinc production in 2017 due to higher prices of the products, cnmn.com reported.

Prices for high-purity zinc are now 500-1,000 yuan per tonne higher than those for #0 zinc ingot at present. The company put emphasis on technical innovation and onsite management so as to step up high-purity production.

Zinc content in the company’s zinc ingot is now controlled below 0.0012% produced by its Huize smelter.
