SHFE 1707 zinc opened at RMB 21，560/mt today and then dropped to an intraday low of RMB 21,160/mt.

SHANGHAI, May 16 (SMM) – SHFE 1707 zinc opened at RMB 21，560/mt today and then dropped to an intraday low of RMB 21,160/mt. With entry of longs, SHFE 1707 zinc then climbed to RMB 21,230/mt. In the afternoon, SHFE 1707 zinc fluctuated around RMB 21,220/mt, and closed at RMB 21,310/mt, down RMB 185/mt or 0.86%.

Trading volumes on SHFE 1707 zinc increased 104,000 to 345,000 lots, and positions added 39,896 to 345,000. SHFE 1707 zinc is expected to hover around RMB 21,300/mt this evening.
