Global Zinc Deficit Inverts to 19,800 tonnes Surplus in February

The International Lead and Zinc Research Organization (ILZSG) announced global zinc surplus of 19,800 tonnes in February, compared to 22,300 tonnes deficit revised for January, wenhua.com reported.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 13 (SMM) - The International Lead and Zinc Research Organization (ILZSG) announced global zinc surplus of 19,800 tonnes in February, compared to 22,300 tonnes deficit revised for January, wenhua.com reported.

Global zinc shortages totaled 2,000 tonnes during January and February, versus 44,000 tonnes of surplus in the same period of last year.

ILZSG said zinc inventories at consumers, producers and traders fell to 1,395,800 tonnes in February, down from 1,371,000 tonnes in January.
