SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 82,780/mt and declined below all the moving averages.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 12 (SMM) – On Wednesday, SHFE 1709 nickel opened at RMB 82,780/mt and then fluctuated narrowly. During the afternoon trading, the contract decreased to RMB 81,550/mt. SHFE 1709 nickel declined below all the moving averages on Wednesday with price down RMB 3,390/mt or 3.99%. Trading volumes increased 252,000 to 706,000 lots and positions rose 28,000 to 437,000.

SHFE 1709 nickel is expected to drop to RMB 80,000/mt with negative technical indicators but will find support at lows.
