One North China Stainless Steel Mill Raises Bidding Price for Low-grade NPI

One stainless steel mill in north China raised the bidding price for April’s low-grade NPI (Ni 2.5%), Shanghai Metals Market learns. 

SHANGHAI, Mar. 30 (SMM) – One stainless steel mill in north China raised the bidding price for April’s low-grade NPI (Ni 2.5%), Shanghai Metals Market learns. 

China NPI Production to Hit by New Round of Environmental Protection Inspections, SMM Reports

The mill increased the bidding price up to 4,050 yuan per tonne (price to factory, including tax, by cash). 

The price was up 200 yuan per tonne from the level for March's purchases.
