Two mines of the Philippines’ DMCI are expected to resume operation, waning SHFE 1705 nickel. The contract advanced to RMB 85,530/mt briefly and then declined after touching the 10-day moving average. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1705 nickel kept falling, down as low as RMB 84,310/mt, and ended at RMB 84,450/mt, down 0.42%. Trading volumes fell 38,000 to 347,000 lots and positions dropped 20,000 to 449,000.
SHFE 1705 nickel will remain weak on Monday’s night trading with negative technical indicators.
