Chile Mining Minister Aurora Williams said Thursday the strike at the Escondida copper mine will affect the country’s copper production.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 3 (SMM) - Chile Mining Minister Aurora Williams said Thursday the strike at the Escondida copper mine will affect the country’s copper production and also dragged down the country’s GDP by 1 percentage point in February, wenhua.com reported.

The strike at the Escondida copper mine has lasted for 25 days.
