SHFE Nickel Prices Up 1.51% (2017-1-10)

SHFE 1705 nickel started at RMB 86,680/mt and finally ended at RMB 87,130/mt, up 1.51%.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 10 (SMM) – On Tuesday, SHFE 1705 nickel started at RMB 86,680/mt and then fluctuated. The contract regained previous lost ground during the second trading hours. During the afternoon trading, SHFE 1705 nickel advanced to RMB 87,810/mt with positions opening by longs. The growth narrowed later and the contract finally ended at RMB 87,130/mt, up 1.51%. Trading volumes increased 102,000 to 458,000 lots and positions rose 3,800 to 548,000. SHFE 1705 nickel increased with support from the 5 and 10-day moving averages.

SHFE 1705 nickel will keep strengthening on Tuesday’s night trading with positive technical indicators.
