Beijing Launches Extended Producer Responsibility Pilot Programme for Scrap-Lead Acid Battery

Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau launched Extended Producer Responsibility Pilot Programme for scrap lead-acid battery from January to June in 2017.

SHANGHAI, Jan.9 (SMM) - Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau launched Extended Producer Responsibility Pilot Programme for scrap lead-acid battery from January to June in 2017. The activity was based on Article 18 of China’s Prevention and Governance of Environmental Solid Waste Pollution, Article 15 of Circular Economy Promotion Law, Pollution Prevention and Governance from Scrap Battery and Pilot Management System Promotion Law for Collection and Transport of Scrap Lead-Acid Battery introduced by Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Center of China’s Environmental Protection Bureau.
