China Sees Continuous Declines in Nickel Ore Port Inventories, SMM Reports

Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports continued falling this past week, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 28 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports continued falling this past week, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

According to SMM data, nickel ore inventories were down 60,000 tonnes on a weekly basis.

SMM revises down the proportion of 7 ports’ nickel ore inventories in China’s total to 75% from September 16, as the number of China’s ports importing nickel ore is growing.
