Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum prices head lower on Index 12th Oct, 2016

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined slightly Thursday, 12th October, 2016 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 0.40 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 0.51 and $ 0.62 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 0.25 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 6.56 per Oz to reach $ 698.50 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $14.35 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.04 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 0.37 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 0.49 and $ 0.59 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 0.25 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 6.56 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.03 per Oz.
