Should overnight shibor rise further, a large number of speculative investors may retreat from commodity market.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 31 (SMM) – Should overnight shibor rise further, a large number of speculative investors may retreat from commodity market. LME zinc will consolidate at USD 2,290-2,330/mt, and SHFE 1611 zinc should fluctuate between RMB 17,900-18,100/mt today, and spot #0 zinc prices will trade RMB 70-90/mt above SHFE 1610 zinc.

SHFE 1605 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,360/mt on Thursday evening and closed at RMB 14,395/mt, up RMB 100/mt.
