China Sees Declines in Nickel Ore Inventories, SMM Reports

Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports fell in the week ending Aug. 19 after growing for three weeks in a row, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 19 (SMM) – Nickel ore inventories at seven major Chinese ports fell in the week ending Aug. 19 after growing for three weeks in a row, Shanghai Metals Market reported.

SMM survey finds few arrivals of new shipments were reported at the seven ports. 

Nickel ore inventories at those ports were down 110,000 tonnes on a weekly basis, according to SMM data.
