SHANGHAI, Aug. 16 (SMM) – SHFE 1609 tin opened high at RMB 122,320/mt overnight, and closed at RMB 123,400/mt. SHFE 1609 tin opened at RMB 123,280/mt today, and closed at RMB 123,450/mt, up RMB 1,180/mt or 0.97%. Trading volumes decreased 1,696 to 9,848 lots, and positions increased 140 to 12,300. Prices meet resistance from RMB 126,000/mt.
