On Monday’s night trading, SHFE 1610 aluminum opened at RMB 12,380/mt, touching a high of RMB 12,400/mt and low of RMB 12,270/mt.

SHANGHAI, Aug. 9 (SMM) –On Monday’s night trading, SHFE 1610 aluminum opened at RMB 12,380/mt, touching a high of RMB 12,400/mt and low of RMB 12,270/mt. The contract closed the night session at RMB 12,320/mt.

On Tuesday, SHFE 1610 aluminum opened at RMB 12,315/mt. Short selling sent its prices down to RMB 12,270/mt, and finally the most active contract ended at RMB 12,310/mt. Trading volumes were down 42,266 lots to 128,862 lots, and positions were up 4,812 to 199,820. SHFE 1610 aluminum will continue seeking direction.
